Does Greece have its own Amazon marketplace?

No. Shoppers in Greece use other Amazon marketplaces, but delivery must be confirmed for the exact listing, seller and Greek address.

Which Amazon marketplace is best for Greece?

There is no single best marketplace for every order. Compare only listings that deliver to your address, then review the seller, dispatch origin, delivery estimate and final checkout total.

Will an Amazon order to Greece have customs charges?

The dispatch origin matters. Goods sent from within the EU are handled differently from goods entering Greece from outside the EU, where import VAT and possible customs or excise charges can apply.

Short answer

Check the exact listing before ordering

Amazon can deliver eligible products to Greece, but there is no single answer for every listing. Availability depends on the marketplace, seller, exact product and Greek delivery address.

Check on Amazon

Greece does not have a dedicated Amazon marketplace. The practical approach is to set your Greek address before shopping and compare only listings that show delivery for that address.

A product appearing in Amazon search results does not confirm that it can be delivered to Greece. The seller, dispatch country, product category and selected variation can all change the delivery options shown. Compare the complete checkout total rather than the item price alone.

Before checkout

How to confirm delivery to Greece

Check the live listing in this order. Search results alone do not confirm that the selected product can be sent to your address.

1Open Amazon and set the delivery destination to the Greek address you plan to use
2Choose the exact product, size, colour or model rather than relying on the search result
3Confirm that the selected seller shows delivery to your address
4Review the dispatch origin, delivery estimate, returns information and complete checkout total

Set the address first

Use the Greek postcode and delivery address for the order before relying on availability.

Check the seller

The same product can have different delivery and return terms when sold by another seller.

Compare the final total

Review delivery charges, VAT and any import-fee information shown before payment.

Delivery restrictions

Amazon determines eligibility for the exact listing and address. Some products can be unavailable because of seller limits, carrier rules, product dimensions or controls affecting items such as batteries and hazardous materials.

VAT, duty and import costs

For online purchases delivered from another EU country, the retailer normally applies VAT under EU distance-selling rules. Goods entering Greece from outside the EU are subject to import VAT, and customs or excise charges can also apply depending on the goods and value. Use the dispatch origin and checkout information for the actual order.

Returns

Return conditions can differ by Amazon marketplace, seller and product. Check the return deadline, destination and available return method on the exact listing before ordering internationally.
